What is the Foundation "Stiftung Soziale Stadt"?

The Foundation "Stiftung Soziale Stadt" sees itself as a supplement to public support services in Dortmund's 13 action areas as part of the city's "Socially Integrative City" action plan. The aim is to support disadvantaged population groups and enable them to help themselves. The foundation was set up by Planerladen e.V..

What is supported

• Creating jobs and promoting educational and vocational qualifications

• Improving the social and health situation in all areas of life

• Support for counseling and assistance services for social, youth and senior citizens

• Improving dialog and integration assistance

• Projects already in progress are not eligible for funding

Who can apply for funding

Non-profit organizations or public corporations can apply for funding. The project must be located within the action areas and benefit the residents of the 13 action areas.

How to apply for funding

Applications for project funding can be completed online on the homepage. The decision on funding will then be announced by the Foundation's Executive Board.
