This is us

A local association for people in or from Bodelschwingh and Westerfilde. Founded in 2019, we already have 110 members. Our board consists of four people, as well as two advisory boards. We have a hard-working editorial team that takes care of the association's own website. Every second Tuesday of the month, members and guests are invited to a meeting with presentations on a variety of topics. We take part in many activities in the neighborhood and are happy to serve the community.

Our goals

We have set ourselves three main goals:

- Preserve history (yesterday)

- Promoting community (today)

- Shaping the future (tomorrow)

What we offer

Monthly meetings with changing topics, guided tours on site, cycle tours, active participation in local community events (e.g. summer festival in Westerfilde, forest Christmas market, spring cleaning, etc.). Implementation of a living Advent calendar. We operate our own website with current and local history content.
