What is the ProFiliis Foundation?

ProFiliis was founded in 2008 and aims to make a contribution to improving the general conditions for children and young people. ProFiliis aims to help improve the conditions under which children and young people can lead a fulfilled and happy life and to facilitate and promote the development of their abilities.

What is supported?

• In principle, all projects and measures that aim to promote or support children are eligible for funding

• Preference will be given (due to the large number of projects submitted) to projects that
  

  • benefit a larger number of children and young people

  • are supported by a strong voluntary commitment

  • are of great importance to the children and young people concerned

  • aim to alleviate social, health or economic disadvantages of children and young people

Who can apply for funding?

The project must initially be geographically located in the greater Dortmund area. Funding can be provided, for example, for humanitarian aid organizations, sports clubs, youth centers and youth groups as well as schools and kindergartens.

How do I apply for funding?

The funding application can be submitted online on the ProFiliis Foundation website and is evaluated on a quarterly basis.
