Multifunctional Court

Kicking and shooting baskets is what many children and young people want to do at the "Im Odemsloh" playground. Since the old soccer field was worn out and getting older, the field was rebuilt in the fall of 2021 and even expanded into a multifunctional field: the kids can now enjoy the new artificial turf small field for playing soccer and a synthetic field for playing ball (including basketball). There are ball catching fences and additional seating all around the court.

The new construction of the multifunctional playground is the first project of the playground- and leisurearea concept for Westerfilde & Bodelschwingh that has been implemented. The playground "Im Odemsloh", in which the multifunctional square is embedded, is also to be upgraded in the next few years. With attractive facilities for sports, games and recreation, a meeting place for the most diverse targeted groups from Westerfilde & Bodelschwingh is to be created.
